Tener a nuestra disposición recursos teológicos de alta calidad, de forma gratuita y en nuestro idioma, responde a los tres principales desafíos que enfrentamos los estudiantes de teología hispanohablantes. En primer lugar, la escasez de materiales de calidad en español; en segundo lugar, que cuando estos existen, su costo suele superar nuestras posibilidades; y en tercer lugar, que, aun cuando logramos acceder a recursos valiosos y asequibles, en la mayoría de los casos se trata de traducciones de obras o cursos diseñados para un público distinto al nuestro. Por eso, contar con recursos de calidad, gratuitos y específicamente dirigidos al mundo hispanohablante es algo poco común. Doy gracias a Dios porque CITA hace esto posible.

Having access to high-quality theological resources, freely available and in our own language, addresses the three main challenges faced by Spanish-speaking theology students. First, the scarcity of quality materials in Spanish; second, that when such resources do exist, their cost often exceeds our means; and third, that even when we are able to obtain valuable and affordable resources, they are, in most cases, translations of books or courses designed for a different audience. Therefore, having high-quality, free resources specifically created for the Spanish-speaking world is quite rare. I thank God that CITA makes this possible.

Ante la necesidad de un programa para la formación teológica de pastores en nuestra recién formada denominación, fui presentado a David Moran. ¡Qué sorpresa! Encontramos a alguien que habla nuestro idioma y que, aunque posee un nivel muy alto de conocimiento teológico, presenta los temas de una manera muy sencilla. Esto fascinó a todos; todas nuestras iglesias están muy contentas con él. Al evaluar sus cursos en video, nos dimos cuenta de que CITA-EDU era la herramienta de capacitación que estábamos buscando.
Actualmente estoy preparando a siete mentores para guiar a los estudiantes a través del currículo de CITA, y tengo como meta abrir centros de estudio en 27 ciudades en Colombia y Ecuador. La belleza del material de CITA es que es accesible (gratuito en la web), fácil de usar, comprensible, práctico y cumple con estándares académicos de seminario.

In need of a program for the theological foundation of pastors in our newly formed denomination, I was introduced to David Moran. What a surprise! Here was someone who spoke our language, and though possessing a very high level of theological knowledge, presents the topics in a very simple form. This fascinated everyone; all our churches are very happy with him. Upon evaluating his video courses, we realized that CITA-EDU was the training tool we had been looking for. I am currently preparing seven mentors for guiding students through the CITA curriculum and have a goal of opening study centers in 27 cities throughout Columbia and Ecuador. The beauty of the CITA material is that it is accessible (free on the web), easy to use, understandable, practical and meets seminary academic standards.

Me gustaría agradecerle por su dedicación en la preparación de clases en línea para el mundo hispano. Servimos a nuestra comunidad aquí en Coral Springs, Condado de Broward, con ESL (Inglés como Segundo Idioma). En nuestro programa de ESL tenemos familias que representan a todos los países latinos de Norte, Centro y Suramérica, así como de España. Invitamos a nuestros estudiantes a participar en estas clases.
Las clases de CITA han sido fundamentales para movilizar a nuestros voluntarios a servir, amar y cuidar unos de otros y de nuestra comunidad en general. Tenemos adultos que están yendo a servir como voluntarios en centros de adicción, visitando a los enfermos en hospitales, proveyendo alimentos para la comunidad, preparando útiles escolares para niños necesitados y entregando regalos durante la Navidad en nuestras escuelas locales y en la comunidad.
Las clases de CITA ayudan a preparar líderes en nuestra iglesia local y para futuras plantaciones de iglesias. Estas clases son perfectas para hombres y mujeres trabajadores con agendas muy ocupadas. Pueden ver las clases cuando su horario se lo permite, y luego se reúnen con el mentor para revisar cualquier pregunta que puedan tener. Estas clases permiten a nuestros estudiantes ver, escuchar, escribir y tener conversaciones/discusiones para entender mejor el material.
Estoy tan entusiasmado con las clases en línea de CITA, que he logrado motivar con éxito a otros pastores hispanohablantes en nuestra comunidad a utilizar los videos para capacitar a sus líderes.
Que el Señor continúe fortaleciéndole en este gran proyecto que beneficiará el fortalecimiento de nuestras comunidades.

I would like to thank you for your dedication in preparing classes on line for the Hispanic World. We serve our community here in Coral Springs, Broward County with ESL (English as a Second Language). In our ESL program we have families representing every Latin country from North, Central and South America and Spain. We invite our students to participate in these classes.
CITA classes have been instrumental in mobilizing our volunteers to serve, love, care for one another and our community at large. We have adults going to volunteer in addiction centers, visiting the sick in the hospitals, providing food for the community, preparing school supplies for needy children, and giving presents during Christmas for our local schools and the community.
CITA classes help to prepare leaders in our local church and for future church plants. These classes are perfect for working men and women with such busy schedules. They can watch the classes when their individual schedule allows them to, and then they meet with the mentor to go over any question they may have. These classes allow our students to Watch, Hear, Write, and have a conversation / discussion to better understand the material.
So enthusiastic am I about the online CITA classes, that I have successfully encouraged other Spanish speaking pastors in our community to use the videos to train their leaders.
May the Lord continue to strengthen you in this great project that will benefit the strengthening of our communities.
